i received volume II of many of them magazine (2012) yesterday. it's full of beautiful and soft images, interviews, poetry, and more. a lot of the pictures and writings are memorable, and while paging through i was drawn to the eatable of many orders interview. composed of a husband (koji arai) and wife team, yoko osawa arai explains the ideas she keeps in mind during the designing process:

"I get inspired by primitive people, by how they lived and made things, while my husband thinks deeper about the concept all the time.  . . . For us, simplicity becomes very important. Our inspiration comes from the earth, its colors and shapes... Nature, that's our key [p.242]".
